This system is just going to skim past Nova Scotia. Earlier in the week, the forecast models had it coming over NS, in which case we would ahve been in for some serious rain today. It still looks like the eastern tip of Newfoundland will feel its force, however, as warnings have been issued for that province.
It was interesting that although there weren't officially any marine weather warnings last night, there were a plethora of sailboats taking shelter in my Bay, which is something we rarely see. This one was one of the largest:
