Although hurricane season really doesn't kick into high gear in Atlantic Canada until later in the summer when the sea surface temperatures at the higher latitudes have warmed more than their current temps., we should still be mindful of what is churning out in the Atlantic. These systems may not develop into anything and the early season hurricanes tend not to be swept up in the Gulf Stream, but never say never...
