How long will this January thaw last?

Some long range models are indicating a return to cross-polar flow into eastern Canada after the 20th of January, which would mean the the gates to the Arctic air would be re-opened once again.

I wish this thaw would end tonight! It is not nice for anyone that enjoys the many winter activities. If this keeps up this will really be the third bad winter without any snow.

I agree; as nice as it is to not be freezing, it feels unnatural and my road has turned into complete muck!
